I’m a practitioner and problem-solver with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of democracy, civic engagement, and peacebuilding. My work has taken me across the U.S. and more than a dozen countries, collaborating with mission-driven partners to build inclusive and resilient societies. In the U.S., I’ve partnered with local leaders to confront polarization and strengthen grassroots organizing, while globally, I’ve supported activists to advance democratic institutions and social cohesion.
Highlights of my work include supporting female civic leaders in Iraq to create space at the reconciliation table, collaborating with community activists in Ukraine to build consensus amidst conflict, and empowering youth in Lebanon to enhance their political participation. Most recently, I’ve worked with leaders in the U.S. to promote unity and address the divides fracturing communities. What drives me is the opportunity to contribute to efforts that create lasting, positive change and foster peaceful societies.

My business name, Global Forward Consulting, is an adaptation of my parents’ small business name which they owned for over 45 years. I adapted the name to honor the life and opportunities they provided me.
While Global Forward Consulting is a one-woman shop, my sidekick Samwise (the sometimes) Brave is a key member of the team.
